| If you have questions about a sick bird and would like a phone call, please be sure to include your phone number complete with area code and a brief description of the problem. My first question will be "What do you see?" The more information you can give in your email, the better able I will be to help you figure out what is wrong! I will try to contact you within a few hours of receiving your email! Other questions I will ask are: How long has the bird been sick? What do its droppings look like? Watery, funny color, smelly? What color are it's feet? Pink, yellow, red, white? How is its apatite? Is it eating and drinking well? What is its demeanor? Is it acting irritable and/or agitated? Is the bird sitting fluffed? Is it tucking its head? Is it standing on one foot? What is the feather condition? Tight and sleek? Rough or missing? What do you feed your bird? What supplements do you give your bird? How is its breathing? Labored? Is the bird making a clicking or gurgling sound? Are the eyes and nostrils clear? Or is there a discharge from either? Does the bird receive natural or full spectrum lighting? Is the bird's cage near a draft? After reading your email and/or discussing details over the phone, I may ask more questions to help determine the problem.
