| Finches are physically able to reproduce at a very early age - as early as four to five months old. Some, like Zebra finches, will attempt to breed sooner. However, to ensure success, you should wait until they are at least a year old. Most Lady Gouldian finches will become fairly consistent and attentive parents by the time they are two years of age. |
